Our FM signal in Charleston SC is a LP (low power) signal on 102.9 FM. It is a 100 watt station and since we are only 100 watts, our signal gets stomped on sometimes by 102.9 in Jacksonville FL !  This happens worse in the spring and fall, but also at times when the upper layers of the atmosphere have layers of various temperatures.  Think of it like when a light is pointed into a prism. The light scatters.  Our signal does that to under these conditions.

What can you do?  We are constantly improving our stream signal.  The live 365 app is real good.  I recently drove over 600 miles listening on the stream and it was amazing. Load the app on your phone and when your phone is connected to your car, you will hear HD quality audio in your car of Home Grown Radio. The live 365 app is in you're app store.

When you open the app, search for “HOME” and right close to the top you will see Home Grown Radio.
